Sandra received a phone call from her daughter, Abigail, that she would never forget. Abigail’s voice, trembling with frustration, conveyed the depth of the problem she was dealing with. Her roommates and their boyfriends were making her living situation unbearable. “Mom, it’s a nightmare. All of this is just a nightmare!” Abigail cried. Sandra didn’t want her daughter to face this situation alone. After hearing that two of the roommates, Ella and Danielle, shared Abigail’s frustrations, Sandra knew they had a chance to solve the problem. “Please, Mrs. Landon, just help us deal with this because we can’t live anymore,” Ella begged. With three of the five roommates on board, Sandra focused her attention on the remaining two: Rachel and Tess, the ones who had introduced their disruptive boyfriends to the household.
Sandra understood that confronting Rachel and Tess might only lead to more drama, but she knew they had no other choice. Luckily, the end of the university lease was approaching, and Rachel and Tess had planned a camping trip with their boyfriends. This provided the perfect window of opportunity to take action.

From furniture and cookware to basic toiletries, everything was taken. Sandra even brought over a locked cupboard to store the essentials, ensuring that only those who had contributed could access them. When Rachel, Tess, and their boyfriends returned from their trip, they were met with the shock of their lives. Everything they had taken for granted—furniture, dishes, toiletries—was gone. Rachel and Tess flooded the group with angry texts. “How could you do this to us? We come back from a trip, sick and exhausted, only to find that everything is gone?” they complained. Abigail, now calm and in control, replied with a nonchalant tone: “You were camping. You probably just didn’t have the signal to receive our messages. Sorry, not sorry.”
The message was clear: the girls had been treated unfairly for too long, and it was time for Rachel and Tess to face the consequences of their actions.

As the days passed, Rachel and Tess came to the grim realization that they had nothing left in the house without Abigail, Ella, and Danielle. Every item they had relied on was now gone. Left with no choice, they packed their things and moved out earlier than planned. Sandra felt a sense of satisfaction. “Serves them right,” she said, reflecting on how the selfish roommates had finally gotten what they deserved.
Abigail, too, was relieved. “The girls moved in with their boyfriends,” she shared, and Sandra couldn’t help but wonder how the couples would handle the situation on their own. The reality of living without the support of their roommates was bound to hit them hard.
