After her breakthrough role in Crocodile Dundee, Linda Kozlowski became an international sensation, starring alongside Paul Hogan in the film and embarking on a romantic journey with him. However, following their separation in 2014, Kozlowski shifted her focus to living her own life and finding love again.

    A Passionate Start in Acting

Born on January 7, 1958, in Fairfield, Connecticut, Linda Kozlowski nurtured her passion for acting from a young age. She pursued this dream by enrolling in the prestigious theater program at the Juilliard School in New York. After graduating in 1981, Kozlowski began her acting career with off-Broadway productions, eventually landing minor roles on Broadway and television, including a notable co-starring role with Dustin Hoffman in the television movie Death of a Salesman.

    From New York to California

Kozlowski’s journey in New York was fraught with challenges. Following her performance in Death of a Salesman, she found herself waiting tables while struggling to secure acting opportunities. However, her close bond with Dustin Hoffman proved invaluable, as he became a mentor to her. Frustrated with her lack of success, Kozlowski made the bold decision to move to California. With an invitation from Hoffman and his wife to stay at their Malibu beach house, she seized the opportunity to attend an audition for Crocodile Dundee, which would change her life forever.

    A Life-Changing Role

Kozlowski’s audition for Crocodile Dundee was a pivotal moment in her career. When she received the casting news from Hoffman, she realized that this opportunity would propel her into stardom. Released in 1986, the film grossed over $320 million, becoming one of the year’s most popular movies and solidifying her status in Hollywood.

    Life After Crocodile Dundee

Despite the film’s immense success, Kozlowski felt overshadowed and turned down numerous projects afterward, wanting to be recognized for her own talent rather than as an accessory to Hogan’s success. She did appear in the sequels to Crocodile Dundee, released in 1988 and 2001, but these were her only on-screen appearances. Following the birth of her son, Chance Hogan, in 1998, Kozlowski chose to step away from the spotlight to focus on raising her child.

    A New Chapter

In 2014, after 23 years of marriage to Paul Hogan, Kozlowski embarked on a new chapter in her life following their divorce. She found love again with Moulay Hafid Baba, a native Moroccan tour guide, and together they founded the luxury travel agency Dream My Destiny in Marrakech, Morocco, designing unique travel itineraries for clients.

Now 63 years old, Kozlowski has no plans to return to acting. She cherishes her newfound independence and freedom, believing that real life offers more fulfillment than the entertainment industry. As she embraces her adventurous life in Morocco, she reflects fondly on her Hollywood days, recognizing that her acting career helped develop skills such as intuition, which she applies in her current profession.

    Conclusion

Although Linda Kozlowski may no longer be in the spotlight, her iconic role as Sue Charlton in Crocodile Dundee remains unforgettable. She has left a lasting legacy in the film industry and continues to live her life on her own terms, embracing the adventures that lie ahead.
